As the competition industry has grown, the technical skill of dancers and the choreographic excellence of teachers have never been higher.
By exposing dancers to the best talent, we give them the motivation to become stronger and better. Awards are only a small part of a competition.

We, at Needham School of Dance, believe that if we keep competition in perspective and can accept the outcome as a personal gain
rather than who was ranked higher, then the benefits are endless. We will use the outcome as an inspiration to do better rather than look
for excuses why it came out the way it did.

Competition not only provides and encourages education, it is a place to measure personal gain and improve performance levels.
Our philosophy will decrease the stress related to the event and foster a sense of confidence and harmony, regardless of the results.
